At the Public Corporation "Zherdevskiy Sugar Plant", "TEPLOCOM" company in 2006 has put into operation raw sugar processing circuit with upgraded structural components and optimized process parameters:

• changes in the design of existing equipment have been made, and new equipment in the raw sugar melting department has been installed;
• binding circuit of basic liming facility has been improved;
• melt liquor saturation process on upgraded equipment has been implemented;
• changes in design and circuit solutions of melting department have been made.

As a result of activities performed, processing of melt liquor of raw sugar with increased content of dry substances became possible. This allowed to:

• increase productivity of raw sugar processing plant;
• decrease consumption of limestone for process needs and finished lime;
• decrease power consumption during production;
• implement efficient automation circuit for melting and liming carbonatation sections.

In 2006, activities on reconstruction of thermotechnical layout of the Public Corporation "Zherdevskiy Sugar Plant" were continued.

Activities on upgrading vacuum condensation facility have been carried out. This gave the possibility to stabilize operation of product department and mode of operation of evaporator and to achieve the productivity of plant of 3900 – 4000 tons of beet per day under normal operation parameters of operation of vacuum condensation facility.
