Steam-jet compressors are usually used for increasing of the evaporating capability of evaporation stations via the additional selection of vapor with its consequent compression to the parameters assigned by technological regime. High-potential vapor both overheated and saturated is used as the working medium.
Steam-jet compressor consists of suction chamber 1, working nozzle 2, mixing chambers 3, diffuser 4, vapor inlet 5.
